I'm a self-motivated marketing talent with a unique blend of experience in PR and event production, eager to take my skills to the next level with the right Seattle-based agency.

While living in the Artist District in downtown LA, I became involved with the production of creative events. I went on to work at a boutique fashion PR and event production agency as a Press Relations & Special Events Coordinator.

The satisfaction of establishing relationships with media professionals and securing press coverage for our clients in publications such as Elle, InStyle, Marie Claire and Nylon, was a feeling matched only by the thrill of producing high-energy fashion shows, product launch parties, and promotional events. I coordinated events from concept to completion for high-profile brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Levi's, Speedo, and Adidas, with media sponsors such as W magazine, FLAUNT, and Paper.

I loved my job, yet I yearned to return to university. My experience as a public relations professional led me to pursue a Media & Communications degree at Goldsmiths, University of London.

After finishing my degree with First Class Honors, I returned to the Pacific Northwest to help develop my husband's landscaping business. Spearheading our consumer-focused marketing initiatives, I've increased our visibility, brand awareness, and positive market presence. Recognizing the need for strong brand imagery and a credible brand voice, I initiated and managed the development of our website, and created original multimedia blog posts to educate and inform our customers. I created compelling visual content for our social media channels, and consistently grew our Facebook fanbase. To generate repeat customers and brand evangelists, I launched a newsletter campaign that averaged an open rate 13% higher than our industry average. My effective marketing skills and initiatives, both online and offline, led to a 250% increase in leads. This resulted in the company doubling its revenue in 2011.
