Meghan Stettler

New York, NY

NY based cross-platform journalist with more than five years experience in web/tech, broadcast news and social media strategy. Essayist, opera enthusiast, chocolate snob, award-winning wood carver (no, really).

Recent transplant from LA, currently I report for News 12 Networks, covering the hyperlocal scenes surrounding Manhattan. Prior to moving East, I was a manager at KCET public media, serving the station's investigative news series, Arts programming, pioneering web department and social media platforms (doubling followers).

In 2010, I snagged a Masters from the University of Southern California (emphasis new media), and was awarded a grant to produce an online interactive documentary filmed in New York and Los Angeles.

Career highlights include various web/tech for LDS Media, mini docs for AOL & various consumer clients, and morning show hosting.

Formerly produced large-scale broadcasts with news legends Mike Wallace and Walter Cronkite, as well as musical icons Brian Stokes Mitchell, Renee Flemming, David Foster, Burt Bacharach, Diane Warren and more...
