Michael W. Pursley

I have accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as my savior. I completely and humbly rest upon the external fact that God has revealed himself in Jesus Christ, who has blotted out all of my sins, just as he has the sins of all truly believing people. As a believer, I have the word of God as the guarantee of my forgiveness; this is my rest, this is my security, this is my comfort. Because I am a believer in Jesus Christ, God’s only-begotten son, and since God has declared that “He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life,” I therefore have hope, and because of this hope I have peace, and further, I have joy. This joy can only come from believing and submitting ourselves to God, and then trusting in his promises. And, I pray for you, brothers and sisters; never be drifted away from a child-like faith in what God has said.

Let's talk... I am not afraid of discussion. I embrace it.

"Now, no matter, child, the name: Sórrow’s spríngs áre the same." I am not afraid of hearing your thoughts, or of your pain, your doubt, your anger, your utter loneliness, your confusion, your embarrassment and all the rest of the emotions you are experiencing. I embrace them and with them, I embrace you. Why? Because you are important. You are important to me. We, somehow, in some way, and in some manner, are on this journey together. Maybe you have heard a little bit about Jesus Christ and you would like to know a little more… Perhaps, at one time you were a Christian and somehow things got in the way, you would like to come back, but life has become so tangled you don’t know how. You may even be one of those who believe that there is no hope for you; that you have done too much, or gone too far… But the same Jesus who stood in front of the door to Lazarus’ tomb and called a dead man back to life, stands in front of you and he calls to you, right now. Come from your spiritual death. Come from your degradation and impoverishment. Come into his life, which is the real life. If you want to meet or perhaps re-meet Jesus, write me at: [email protected].
