Michael Martin

Michael T. R. Martin, MACC, MBA, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Martin has established himself as a proficient partner at Nationwide CFO LLC, a tax firm specializing in corporate tax strategy. In this role, where he has dedicated two decades to providing exceptional accounting and financial services, he is recognized for his expertise in corporate tax and controllership services. His role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including attestation, preparation of individual tax returns, summarizing transactions, compiling statements, and reporting results. Building upon a solid educational foundation, Mr. Martin received his bachelor's degree in business, with an emphasis in accounting, from Trinity International University in 2006. Following this accomplishment, he went on to attain a Master of Science in accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University in 2016, and an MBA from the same institution in 2023. Further enhancing his credentials, he obtained a graduate certificate in business intelligence and analytics management from the Keller Graduate School of Management in 2018 and is recognized as an Accredited Tax Preparer and Advisor.

Mr. Martin attributes much of his success to the support he received from family, friends, mentors, educators, supervisors, and managers throughout his life. His decision to pursue accounting was influenced by a college advisor, who recognized his aptitude for algebra and recommended the field as a suitable career path.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Martin enjoys a rich personal life rooted in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a father to three sons—Mikah, Elijah, and Levi—and takes pleasure in sharing activities such as playing golf, collecting sports cards, and attending live games, including those of the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team. He also engages in a great deal of charity work for nonprofit organizations.
