In 2009, Michael founded Martin & Co., LLC, where he began providing senior-level project professional services in the accounting and finance fields, including chief financial officer, controller, senior financial analyst, internal auditor, business systems analyst, and tax preparer, with a specialization in complex income tax return preparation. His work focuses on financial clarity, governance, and sustainable growth—helping owners understand not just compliance requirements, but the financial story of their business.
In 2012, Michael pursued advanced graduate education alongside his professional career, earning both a Master of Science in Accounting (Certification Preparation) and an MBA in Business Intelligence and Analytics Management from DeVry/Keller Graduate School of Management, graduating with distinction and induction into Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society. His graduate education emphasized advanced studies in federal taxes, tax compliance, tax planning, applied statistics, analytics, financial modeling, governmental and not-for-profit accounting, and management decision-making strategies. As a graduate student whose interdisciplinary interests include industrial engineering management, variable frequency drives (VFDs), electric motors, and high-pressure pumping systems, while working in a Controller Consultant capacity at a high-pressure mist system manufacturing company, Martin designed and implemented a VFD-driven pump and motor assembly capable of maintaining a stable 1,000 PSI operating setpoint.
