Michael Davis

I am a writer, editor, and writing teacher based in Hawaii. I write fiction, narrative and journalistic nonfiction, work as a freelance writer and book editor, and teach at the University of Hawaii-Manoa.

My stories, essays, and columns have appeared in over 43 magazines and journals.

I've published three collections of short stories, Gravity (2009), Cruel Stars (2017), and Living the Dream, which is forthcoming from Terror House Press in 2023.
