Born in 1992, in Colorado (USA) being both American and Slovak, creative focus of Michal Freriks is oriented on immersive and collaborative theatre where nobody serves to anybody but to art itself. He is mostly interested in dramaturgy and the creational process and he sees an art piece as the mirroring result of the process. Michal came to the performance and performing arts as he was practicing martial arts. He started to be interested more in artistic part of the movement so therefore he partially left martial arts to be fully commited to his interests. He graduated at Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (Slovakia) in a programme “Dance interpretation and Choreography”. Besides that he studied by himself and got knowledge from his mentors (KJ Holmes, David Zambrano and many others). Besides being an active artist he is experienced in Tech production and also in software development. He likes to code in Javascript both Backend and Frontend
