Did you know that architectural historian was an actual job? It's true! It's really much less pretentious than it sounds in my case. My fascination and my work focuses on the less appreciated parts of the built environment. I study the things you pass by everyday from the funny little houses with the mushroom roofs to sprawling, endless subdivisions of the 1960s. They are there for a reason; my job is to figure out why. Usually the answers are much more fascinating than you'd imagine.
