As a true-Marylander by birth, I grew up with a love of aquatic life and ultimately chose to pursue a B.S. degree in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina.

A semester abroad at the University of Wollongong in NSW, Australia fueled my love of marine life. Upon graduation I accepted an internship with a shark conservancy in South Africa, helping to promote shark conservation and the sustainable use of marine resources.

I eventually journeyed to the PNW and currently work as a consultant for The Spur Group, a successful business consulting firm in Redmond, WA. I'm proud to be contracted by Microsoft as the Program Coordinator of the Regional Director Program.

My wonderful husband, two rescue dogs, and insatiable wanderlust keep me busy in my time away from the office. Meanwhile, I continue to satisfy my mermaid-tendencies as a PADI Rescue Diver with aspirations to one day acquire my Instructor's license.
