I'm a research data analyst and software engineer working in projects related to population and migration studies at El Colegio de la Frontera Norte (Colef) in Tijuana, Mexico. I received a bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the UABC in Tijuana, and a master’s in Computer Science from the CICESE Research Center in Ensenada, Mexico.
My master's project, called InCense, facilitates contextual data gathering from populations of mobile phone users. InCense is a research kit that gathers data from several different sensors to be used by people with limited technical expertise (e.g., social researcher). I have 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer at Sony Baja California (Tijuana, Mexico).
