After living abroad all his life in countries such as Mali, Thailand, Sri Lanka, or Morocco Nathanael quickly realizes that all migrants are not as welcomed as he had been in those countries. This was the case for many refugees he met. Despite fleeing persecution or war in their home lands, these man and women, were rarely offered opportunities to start a new life in their host countries and were largely discriminated against.

In 2012, he co-founded SINGA with Guillaume Capelle and developed an expertise on community mobilization and created tools to connect refugees with members of the host communities sharing common passions or professions.Beyond providing opportunities for refugees, Singa seeks to foster change at a large scale by challenging stigma and discrimination against refugees. In 2016, SINGA gathered in France a community of over 20 000 members and created new structures in countries such as Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, or Canada.

Today Nathanael's heading a new innovative initiative called Yeobi aiming to provide newcomers will all the information, services and products they need to start a new life in their host countries.

Recognitions : In 2013, Nathanael wins the SFR Social entrepreneur of the year award, In 2014, he is named Ashoka Fellow and a year later is cited in Forbes 30 under 30 list of most promising European social entrepreneurs.
