About your childhood?I was born in Orange, CA to immigrant parents from Zacatecas, MX. I started kindergarten not knowing a stitch of English. Today I speak both languages fluently, without an accent.

What is your favorite music? Smooth Jazz, Country & Funk - However, you will rarely catch me listening to music. My preference is to Always Be Learning so I listen to podcasts and audiobooks.

What have been your adult careers?I spent 20 years in the property & casualty insurance business, from an independent agent to national sales trainer to district sales manager with AAA Automobile Club of Southern CA

Since 2004, I have been in the real estate industry, as an agent, broker licensee, executive sales leader for the Walt Disney Company, director of partnerships for Side in San Francisco, and today an independent agent in Orange County, CA

If you could meet someone in history who would it be?

Mother Teresa of Calcutta - "Mother often said, 'Holiness is not the luxury of the few, it is a simple duty for each one of us. May her example help us to strive for holiness: to love God, to respect and love every human person created by God in His own image and in whom He dwells, and to care for our poor and suffering brethren.

What did you aspire to be as a grownup when you were a child?

An archaeologist - I used to love digging in the dirt

What is your favorite animal?

Manny, our golden retriever - RIP

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

To be able to twitch my nose like Samantha Stephens on the 70's TV Show "Bewitched"- I'd use it as a quick problem-solving tool for things that require minimal thought, such as meal prep. & errands.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Family time, with my hubby Ernie, our 4 kids, and our 2 grandchildren.
