Nicole Stagg is a digital business adviser, content strategist, product leader and marketer who has been launching, optimizing and marketing content-driven experiences since 1994. Companies -- large and small -- tap into the best practices she has learned throughout the years, especially when it comes to user engagement and building brand loyalty in an often-crowded digital world.

Nicole is a unique combination of a strategic thinker who has the ability to make it happen with measurable results. Having come from a family of marketers, reaching targeted audiences is in her DNA and is why her strategies always include clever methods for content marketing, sharing and spreading a message to the right people. Nicole’s clients – and her students – rely on her clear presentation skills and her infectious enthusiasm so that their projects are both successful and fun at the same time.

Prior to starting Stagg Digital, her consulting business, Nicole was the Executive Director of Content & Product Strategy for the digital division of Hearst Magazines. While there, she was the leader of the digital experiences for Good Housekeeping magazine, and was responsible for envisioning and launching totally new brands with both repurposed and original content: She was the Founding Editor and visionary behind Delish.com, a joint venture between Hearst and Microsoft that is now a Top 10 food website, as well as RealBeauty, com, a Webby Award-winning beauty and wellness destination between Hearst and Procter and Gamble.

Nicole has also held executive positions at leading media companies including iVillage.com, Prevention.com, BiggestLoserClub.com, Disney/ABC.com, Reader’s Digest, and a joint venture business between Unilever and iVillage.com where she created what became the world’s largest beauty website at the time, Substance.com.

Creating highly engaging experiences through quality editorial content is her forte, as is monetizing content while upholding a brand’s image and quality standards. This combination has often put her at the crux of the editor and publisher relationship as a liaison, and has led to her involvement in virtually all facets of the digital business — from editorial planning and interface design, to marketing and media budget planning, to social media and outreach efforts, to generating revenue plans through advertising, subscription sale
