Washington, D.C.

I'm Swiss-Chilean-American, a junior history major at Yale and an intern for Emily Bazelon, a staff writer for the New York Times Magazine based in New Haven. I'm also an editor for The Yale Herald and reporter for the Yale Daily News.

This summer, I'm covering start-ups and Silicon Valley for Forbes. I've interned for National Public Radio's flagship evening news show, All Things Considered, at the organization's Washington, D.C., headquarters and covered immigration reform from the Capitol for the Hearst News Service. I've written a few White House pool reports. I began my career at age 15 in Connecticut where I interned and freelanced for Hearst newspapers throughout the state.

I hope to pursue political reporting, both at home and abroad.
