Olivia Scott

Hi. I'm Olivia Scott. A proud Memphis, TN native/NYC resident who loves life and everything creative.

I have been a creator since 10 (when I used to write and interpret poetry, which I did throughout high school and college). My mother was an English teacher and dad a songwriter, musician (he was the south's first-ever African American host of an entertainment show in his own name), called The Johnny Scott Show. So, between the two parents, clearly you must understand why I majored in journalism In college, was a radio DJ (DJ OliviaLove) at KBIA-FM (Jazz Format), Mizzou, Columbia, MO and KJLU-FM (R&B Format) Lincoln University, Jefferson City MO, and worked at record stores (Streetside Records & Borders), Hence, my love of music is deeprooted and spiritual. Nothing makes me happier and brings my soul more calm than music and writing.

I have been blessed with a wonderful career in advertising, marketing and entertainment in Chicago and NYC. Am blessed with a wonderful circle of friends and family, and live life knowing that we design our lives. Each day we have the power to create ourselves anew.

After 17 years working in various agency, brand and media organizations, I decided to launch Omerge Alliances because I didn't want my creativity to have ANY limits. I wanted to create my wildest dreams with clients I believed in and who I felt warranted my business contributions (we all have to be selective people!). For now, I'm loving all my clients, Media Storm, Essence Festival, Andre Walker Hair, IMAN Cosmetics, Limelight Extensions, and Under The Weave and Pooka Pure & Simple, and appreciate their confidence in me. The love is reciprocal.

I also teach marketing at NYU and Institute of Audio Research in Manhattan.
