I am a curious time and space traveler with an academic training in economic sciences, comparative religions and philosophy.

I am fascinated with the brilliance of the human mind and the progress of science and technology. Since the early years I am interested in the mind-body problem, philosophy of time, epistemology, and futurology as well as the Eastern thought and alternative ways of healing.

Although I am neither a medical doctor, nor a scientist I spent more than twenty five years studying and researching aging and disease. I believe that to a great degree we are responsible for our own condition. Our bodies have the most remarkable ability to heal themselves. We just have to allow them to do just that.

My other passion is traveling. I left my hometown in 1981 and have been on the road, so to say, ever since. Antarctic is the only continent I have not visited and probably never will, but there is no regret about this in my heart. But my heart melts when I think of going back to South Africa or Australia and it melts even more when I think of visiting Hawaii for the first time.

I love art, books, cinema, and good food especially when it is served raw. I have an eclectic taste in music and love Haendel as much as I love Miles Davis.

In my spare time I write short articles that I publish on my diverse blogs. I am the proud owner and creator of the Passionately Raw! raw food blog where I post raw food recipes.

And last but not least, I am passionate about life and enjoy my journey in time and space together with an amazingly creative man.
