Paul Buccieri is president and chairman of A+E Networks Group portfolio. He oversees a collection of powerhouse media brands including A&E®, Lifetime®, The HISTORY® Channel, LMN™, FYI™, and Vice TV. Today, the company reaches more than 335 million households in more than 200 territories on a variety of platforms.
Additionally, Paul directs Global Content Sales (GCS), a division overseeing emerging media, FAST channels, AVOD, and SVOD products. This includes A+E International, part of GCS, a content sales division and co-production entity with branded channels across the globe. Paul also oversees A+E Studios, Six West Media, Category 6, and A+E Consumer Products.
In 2021, Paul Buccieri and A+E Networks received the MIP SDG Award for contributing to the Decade of Action for Sustainable Development Goals set forth by the United Nations, for taking action to advance initiatives focused on reducing inequality. Newsweek also recognized efforts to create a positive and inclusive workplace by naming A+E Networks among the Most Loved Workplaces in 2021.
Collaborating with top industry executives and producers, Paul has helped develop great ideas into hit TV shows, including American Pickers, Curse of Oak Island, Forged in Fire, Vikings, Vikings: Valhalla and Alone for The HISTORY Channel, as well as 60 Days In, First 48, and the Emmy award-winning series Intervention for A&E.
Bringing over twenty years of experience in scripted and non-scripted programming, Paul joined A+E Networks in 2015, as president of A&E and The HISTORY Channel. He also served as president of A&E Networks Portfolio Group and A+E Studios before becoming president of A+E Networks Group in 2018. Paul held previous leadership positions at Fox Twentieth Television, ITV Studios U.S. Group, ITV Studios Global Entertainment, and Endemol USA.
Paul Buccieri serves as director of the board for the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and holds committee and board positions with the Lincoln Center Leadership Committee, the Lincoln Center Media and Entertainment Council, NCTA, The Paley Center for Media, the NAACP Industry Board of Advisors, and others.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys training for triathlons. He competed in the 2017 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Partnering with Feeding America and Caleb and Calder Sloan's Awesome Foundation, Paul helps facilitate food drives for communities in Connecticut.
