Peter Lam

I am a licensed general dentist at Buffalo Run Dental in Calgary and have served the Calgary community for over 20 years. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta in 2000 and furthered my education at the Eastman Dental Center and Strong Memorial Hospital in New York for a year.

I am dedicated to delivering patient-centered comprehensive dental care, focusing on preventive care, overall health, and creating confident smiles. I am known for my patient-centered approach, building strong relationships with my patients to ensure they are active participants in their dental care decisions. I emphasizes patient education, empowering individuals to make informed choices about their oral health.

I am especially passionate and have special focus on dental implants, Invisalign orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and pediatric dental care. Beyond clinical practice, I serve as the Chairperson for SAIT's Dental Assistant Program Advisory Board and had previously served as a clinical instructor for several years. I am actively involved in humanitarian efforts, volunteering my skills with organizations such as Kindness In Action and the Christian Medical And Dental Associations (CMDA), where I provide essential dental services in underserved communities in Central America and Cambodia.

Outside of dentistry, I find joy in spending quality time with my wife, Helen, and my daughters, Kianna and Kaylie. My leisure pursuits include fly fishing, camping, and offroading, allowing me to recharge and connect with nature.
