Rachel Lyn Rumson

Consultant, permaculture designer, and Soil Food Web CTL in New Gloucester, Maine

I’m Rachel Lyn. I live in unseeded Abanaki Territory in Southern Maine. I’m a planner, project manager, systems thinker, mother, designer and activist. Today my work is housed by 207Permaculture L3C. My background in process consulting, education, action research, permaculture and municipal service have lead me to collaborate on some really inspiring and fun community development projects. I am called to soil work, intentional communities, cooperative land trusts and community agroforestry and climate resilience work. My masters thesis in Leadership and Organizational Development was called Regenerative Change: Core Values work in a Cooperative Daycare. I also have a bachelors in Sociology. She earned an Advanced Permaculture Design certification with the Resilience Hub in 2015 and have continued to study with Dr Elaine Ingham (Soil Food Web), Starhawk (Social Permaculture), and Dave Jacke (Polyculture Design). I maintain a Soil Food Web Lab Tech Certification.
