Raymond is an undergraduate at Harvard University studying Computer Science and Economics and one of Canada's Top 20 Under 20, with a love of technology and aerospace.

At Harvard, Raymond has worked to co-found and incubate two Machine Learning companies at the Harvard Innovation Labs, and is intimately involved with both Harvard Model Congress Europe and the Harvard China Forum. In the summers, he has spent time at Two Sigma, Microsoft, and Delta Air Lines.

Since age 12, Raymond has tinkered with aerospace, renewable energy, biomechanics, and environmental management. His patented work with Aircraft Cabin Airflow, and his inventions of the “Weather Harvester”, “Smart Knee Assistant”, and "Sustainable Smart Sanitizer" have garnered accolades like the $75,000 Gordon E. Moore Award of Best In Fair at the 2015 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), and have been featured on NBC, CBC, WSJ, and TED.

In 2016, Raymond was invited by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to a State Dinner celebrating Canada-US Relations on the occasion of US Vice President Joe Biden’s Official Visit. His most recent TED talk inspired over 1.5 Million views, and has been transcribed in 33+ languages. Raymond has served as Canada’s representative on an international scientific exchange to China, and served as a Senior Editor of the Canadian Young Scientist Journal (CYSJ).

Believing in the power of communities to counteract climate change, Raymond is also the founder of Sustainable Youth Canada, a 500+ member Federally-Registered Non-Profit led by students in 8+ regions across Canada, empowering 110,000+ youth to lead energy and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Raymond enjoys making music, and has trouble deciding between the Clarinet, Piano, French Horn, and Flute. He seizes opportunities to help out with technical theatre, film production, and amateur radio, and really likes things with wings.
