"Rebecca brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and wisdom to the subject, and she has the credibility to give sound guidance to women who seek public office and an influential voice in the public square. I am eager to have her book as a resource for the hundreds of organizations committed to advancing women's leadership and political participation."

Debbie Walsh, Director, Center for American Women and Politics, Rutgers University

Every Day Is Election Day: A Woman's Guide to Winning Any Office, from the PTA to the White House is a chapbook for would be (bigger and bigger) women activists, replete with lessons and stories from women who have won for themselves and their communities.

I am an advocate for women's pursuit of political leadership and power and write about gender and power in American life and politics. I lecture about women's public leadership at the University of Chicago. My writing for The Huffington Post and RH Reality Check has been picked-up by other national and international media. I have been a public official, a board member and officer of many organizations, an advisor to women leaders and those seeking and holding public office, and an organizer of women's issues agendas for presidents Obama, Clinton and Carter. I have received numerous awards for this leadership.
