Based in Barcelona, Richard is the EVP Sales and Business Development at Catchoom, the global leader in image recognition and Augmented Reality. Richard was previously at Golden Gekko, Europe's largest developer of business critical mobile solutions, where he spearheaded global business development growth within a $2m+ business vertical.

He also co-founded a "European Foursquare" called GeoMe in 2008 after a stint at the GSM Association (GSMA) as Mobile Programs Director, chairing the Technology Showcase Committee for the Mobile World Congress and establishing the first dedicated Barcelona City mobile website.

Richard set up a successful mobile technology blog in 2008 with over 200,000 subscribers featured in the official Mobile Monday Bloghive and W3C Mobile Web Initiative Blog. The blog spawned a book on mobile apps called "Location-Aware Applications" (ISBN 9781935182337) published by Manning Publications (USA) in July 2011: and described as ´the Rosetta Stone of location-based mobile services” . It is available on worldwide.

He has specific expertise in Augmented Reality and Image Recognition software, Mobile Apps, Location Services, Future Trends and Tech Startup Growth. He holds an MBA from EADA Business School in Barcelona and is a regular contributor to Augmented Reality Groups in Linkedin.
