Swiss bass Roger Krebs is an artist who puts his relationship with his audience at the forefront. With his powerful voice he strives to move audiences and deliver intense and authentic performances. In 2016 he performed the role of Daland (“Der fliegende Holländer”) at the Swedish opera festival “Opera pa Skäret” and took to the stage as Sarastro in Hamburg with the Hamburger Symphoniker. Engagements before that led Roger Krebs to Sweden, to the Munich Biennale or to the Mecklenburgischen Staatstheater in Schwerin (Landgraf, Rocco, Fürst Gremin and many more). He has collaborated with renowned directors, conductors and orchestras, among them Frank Hilbrich, Henry Akina, Ivan Törzs and Fabrizio Ventura, the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz and the Thüringen Philharmonie.
