Ruel Hamilton

Ruel Hamilton founded AmeriSouth Realty in 1987, growing it from a fee property management firm into a vertically integrated real estate platform focused on multifamily communities across Dallas and Fort Worth.

For more than 35 years, Ruel has focused on apartment communities, land, and single-family housing across Texas and Oklahoma, with particular attention to inner-city Dallas neighborhoods. He holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of North Texas, but the communities themselves, not the financial side, are what drive him most.

Ruel sees stable housing and strong public education as inseparable, and that belief shapes how AmeriSouth engages with Dallas neighborhoods. He still leads day-to-day operations personally and stays actively involved with the properties and people AmeriSouth serves.
