Reid Walker
Native Strategist | Foundation Leader | Communications Advisor
I'm the founder of the Walker Youngbird Foundation, which supports emerging Native artists through funding, visibility, and curatorial connection. Based in Washington, D.C. and New York, I work at the intersection of cultural advocacy, strategic counsel, and institutional change—amplifying Indigenous voices across the art world and beyond.
A member of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation, I’ve served as Vice President of Communications at both T-Mobile and Lenovo, co-founded a strategic consultancy advising Fortune 100 companies, and held senior roles in public policy and reputation management. I advise clients on reputation management, brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, and complex cultural strategy.
I serve on the boards of the Phillips Collection and the University of North Dakota, with a current focus on expanding institutional access and recognition for Native artists and communities.
