Sabah Mikha is an MBA candidate at Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. Prior to business school, Sabah spent four years working as a CPA (now inactive) and 2 years working in leveraged finance.

Previously as an Accountant at Ernst & Young LLP, Sabah Mikha drew on his extensive experience to conduct audits at the firm’s Los Angeles office. After graduating from high school, the California native matriculated at the University of California, Santa Barbara to study business economics with an emphasis on accounting. An outstanding student, Sabah Mikha received Dean’s Honors while participating in a wide variety of extracurricular activities that included a role as President of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and as a member of the Accounting Association and Business Economics Association. Mr. Mikha also augmented his full-time studies with a summer internship at Commerce Capital Group Securities, LLC, and a role as Operations Supervisor at Washington Mutual Bank.

After Sabah Mikha earned his Bachelor of Arts in 2009, he enrolled at the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. As a graduate student in the school’s prestigious Department of Accountancy, Mr. Mikha deepened his knowledge of the field, specializing in the areas of financial reporting and assurance services. He joined the Assurance Services Staff at Ernst & Young after receiving his Master of Science. In his current role with the international professional services provider, he works closely with public and private clients to test internal controls and analyze financial statements. Mr. Mikha recently completed the Certified Public Accountant exam and anticipates receiving his CPA license in the near future.

Outside of his business school, Sabah Mikha remains active in his local community through several charitable commitments. He continues to volunteer with various nonprofit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. But one of his most passionate charities has been with the Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Research Institute, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. Throughout his mother’s battle with ovarian cancer, Sabah’s mother never wavered in her belief that she was blessed. She would smile and say with conviction, “Life is good.”
