"To me Art is nothing but our Heart and Subconscious dreaming. I like to capture the inner workings of the Soul and lay it before your eyes… My Art is open to interpretation and I will do things which at the time don’t make sense to me in the normal everyday sense. It’s only later I come to realise the message I’m attempting to convey.I see myself as an artist and I use photography and poetry as my medium. "It all starts with images in Sandhya's head. The words come later to describe what is in front of her. She describes it as tapping into a pool of consciousness and being reflective in it. Sandhya feels compelled to create from a deep spiritual impulse and hunger. Sometimes this comes in the form of intuition or gut feeling. Traveling seems to be a huge part of this process, the reflective experience evolving and shaping her work. She enjoys experimenting and exploring with ideas to the point where she will immerse herself fully with finding meaning behind it all. Sandhya always imagines things going a particular way, much to her surprise her art work evolves and seems to have a spirit of its own. This generally transforms to a unique style of art, some with words poetry too. Sandhya displays her art works in her Studio/Gallery at 25 Combarton Street, Box Hill, Victoria Australia.
