Scott Mitchell Rosenberg is a New York Times Best Seller Comic Book Creator, executive producer of several live action and animated television series, and a producer of major Hollywood films, such as the #1 box office Cowboys & Aliens, starring Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig, which Rosenberg produced alongside Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard. The film is based on the fourteen-time New York Times Bestseller Graphic Novel that Scott created. Scott Rosenberg has also produced over one thousand comic books.
Scott Rosenberg has released films and television with Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks Films, MGM, Showtime, and Lionsgate, and has developed with Disney, Time-Warner's New Line Films, 20th Century Fox and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Scott Mitchell Rosenberg often teams with other producers including Brian Grazer, David Heyman (producer of the Harry Potter franchise) and the producers of Shrek, Batman Begins and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Scott Mitchell Rosenberg first became involved in the film industry with Men in Black. After producing the Men in Black comic book at Malibu Comics Entertainment, he signed an agreement with Sony Pictures, resulting in what is now the multi-billion dollar Men in Black franchise. Scott is now the Chairman and CEO of Platinum Studios, Inc. an entertainment company that controls one of the world's largest independent library of comic book characters.
Rosenberg produces and adapts comic books for film, television, merchandising and all other forms of media. Rosenberg established Platinum Studios following a highly successful career as the founder of Malibu Comics, which Rosenberg sold to Marvel. At Malibu Comics, Scott Mitchell Rosenberg broke every sales and marketing record known to independent publishing and led many successful comic book spin-offs into toys, television, and feature films, including signing the billion-dollar live action film and animated television franchise, Men in Black, with Sony Pictures.
Scott Rosenberg also wrote his first children's interactive book, Cowboys & Aliens: The Kids, which went on to nominations for its quality.
