Greetings, I’m Ms. Shalawn Dawson, MPA, BHS, AAS; a leading pediatric behavioral therapist. I am the founder and creator of the early education transitions program “Child Development Transitions for Children with Disabilities," widely adopted as a major resource for mainstreaming and inclusion and “Therapeutic Teaching Strategies for Severely Autistic Children." I have several pivotal and monumental contributions to my specilizations of psychological therapies and applied behavior analysis. I am an active community liaison, my most exciting commissioning position thus far, being appointed unanimously by the Mecklenburg County Commissioners, Charlotte, North Carolina to serve a three year term as an advisory board member.
