I am a happily married father of four, peace activists, business owner, entrepreneur, political and social activist, philosopher, salesman, editor, and blogger.

I earned a B.A. in Philosophy with a second major in Geography: Global Studies (and a minor in Political Science) from Brigham Young University.

I am currently working on my MA in History at California State University -- Bakersfield (CSUB) where I am researching and writing my thesis on Mormon Nationalism between 1830 and 1900.

I am passionate about the art and science of persuasion and the history, philosophy, and application of nonviolence in finding new solutions to violent social, religious, economic, and political conflicts.

I have previously served as the Director of Individual Liberty for the Libertas Institute and the Editor-in-Chief for LDS Liberty.
