Sholom Eichler serves as Website Manager and Programmer for Eichlers.com, a one-stop resource for Jewish books, accessories, clothing, music, and many other items. Drawing on his considerable knowledge of computing and design, Mr. Eichler ensures that the site provides a fast and secure shopping experience for customers; his other duties including answering e-mail inquiries and processing orders. As a result of Sholom Eichler's efforts, the business has grown considerably, and the website continues to add new features for users.
Sholom Eichler brings to his role a wide range of leadership experience. Each summer from 2002 to 2007, he acted as Office Manager for Camp Gan Israel's Montreal location. In this capacity, he performed oversight for a number of operations at the camp, and he gained invaluable experience in customer service by regularly interacting with parents. During his time there, he received recognition for his efforts from both the camp director and the parents of children who attended. Sholom Eichler also owned ACellADay.com, which provided visitors with deals on cell phones and accessories. In other prior work, he spent nearly a year as a salesman with Eichlers Bookstore.
Aside from his professional experience, he also completed a diverse education. He embarked on his postsecondary studies in 2004 at Touro College in Israel, where he undertook coursework in Judaic studies and psychology. Upon his return to New York a year later, he entered Touro's parent institution, where he remained until 2008.
When not working, Sholom Eichler takes pleasure in a variety of recreational activities. An aviation enthusiast, he especially enjoys flying and spotting planes. His other hobbies include relaxing with friends and volunteering his time for charitable organizations. He is married and has one daughter.
