Simon Bowthorpe has put his two decades of experience in media and advertising across EMEA and the Americas to work for his clients in digital brand communications.

With a varied background that includes advertising, digital marketing, international business development, media agency management, social media strategy and branding, he has created relationships with clients to maximize their investments and ensure the success of their digital marketing campaigns.

He is a thought leader on digital, mobile and social media marketing strategy for Airlines and is also an expert on international luxury and personal care accounts.

Simon worked at Grey Advertising, Young & Rubicam and CMG and was CEO of two media agencies before starting a successful career as a new business and client service consultant to agencies such as McCann, Mediacom and RPZ, where he used his knowledge of new media to help win the Etihad Airways and Bupa accounts.

He joined Sandstorm Digital in Dubai as Client Services Director in 2012 and is also an advisor to a leading Mobile Marketing App company that uses gamification, geolocalization and social media ("Social Geogaming") to enable positive engagement between brands and consumers.

Simon is active on college campuses and at corporate events speaking on a variety of topics related to social media, digital marketing, career orientation and negotiation techniques.
