Simon Dell

Simon began focusing on his speaking engagements in late 2009 when invited to address a PriceWaterhouse Coopers function on social media and a number of Networx Marketing functions on sponsorship, experiential marketing and the difference in marketing to men and women.

From there, he concentrated on developing his core presentations around Facebook and social media, technology, marketing and branding. Clients have included Grand Designs Live, the Queensland Government, Bank of Queensland, Bosch, Event Cinemas, several Chambers of Commerce and the Australian Institute of Management, to name but a few.

His core business is running TwoCents, a marketing agency based in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley that supports Australian business around South-East Queensland with their advertising, marketing, creative, branding, digital and social media needs.

Simon’s background is in the liquor industry, starting his career with Bass Brewers in the UK, before moving to Coors Brewers when the American company bought out the English brewer. Moving to Australia in 2003, Simon started work with Heineken before joining Lion Nathan in 2004 as marketing manager. He launched the TwoCents group in September 2009.

His first book 'Marketing For Small Business' is due to be completed in 2013.
