After receiving a bachelors’ degree in Engineering Physics-Laser and Optics from IAU (science and research campus) in Teh-IR, I started pursuing a master's degree in Engineering Management at CSUN. After one semester I realized my true passion lies in the field of Supply Chain Management therefore started taking SCM courses from the business school to enhance my academic strong points and later after taking continuous improvement courses such as lean engineering and six-sigma, I started working on a research paper on how to combine Lean and SCM.

In line with my studies I have done number of researches/practical projects (either journal or conference papers) on Supplier Selection Metrics, Complex Systems Theory and Continuous Improvement on EM program at CSUN.

In today's market SCM has become a driving force contributing to the overall success of companies and coupled with Lean, Six-Sigma and Sustainability as a lens to see through, it'll generate a platform toward reducing the overall costs of the product.

Currently I am working for Niagara Bottling company as the Continuous Improvement Analyst at corporate office where I get to pursue my passion of systems thinking and continuous improvement by crunching the company wide data and help the leadership team making insightful decisions on the future growth of the company. I also facilitate and instruct Six-sigma/Continuous Improvement related courses for our manufacturing facilities. Recently I received my Six-sigma Black Belt certificate from ASQ.

Education aside I've been playing drums for almost 6 years now, by the way that's Mr. Mike Portnoy in the background:)

Go Steelers!
