I don't advise on sustainability transitions from the sidelines. I've spent three decades inside the rooms where they happen — negotiating regulatory frameworks, guiding governments through economic shifts, and building the institutional architecture that makes change stick.
Currently Founder & Executive Director of the FoodDiplomacy Network and Board Member at the Agricultural University of Athens, my work sits at the intersection of sustainability transitions, food systems and global governance. I bring three decades of experience in sustainability and economic policy — including 20+ years inside the UN system, in Director-level roles at UNEP, UNESCAP, and FAO.
My focus is the hard part: what happens when sustainability transitions create winners and losers, and institutions have to hold the line anyway. That's where strategy and governance either prove their worth — or fall apart.
If you're leading an organization navigating the tension between economic competitiveness and sustainability commitments — or trying to move a market that isn't ready to move — that's the conversation I'm built for.
