Steven D'Souza is a Gemini Award-nominated multi-platform journalist with more than a decade of experience in broadcasting. He is currently a Correspondent for CBC based in New York City. His work has appeared CBC News, BBC, CNN, NBC and elsewhere.
Prior to moving to New York, Steven was the lead reporter for CBC Toronto at the forefront of major stories like the Rob Ford Crack Video Scandal, the Toronto G20 protests, and many more.
As a Video Journalist, Steven is able to shoot, edit and produce his own reports and files for television, radio and online.
His work has taken him to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, to St. Peter's Square for the Conclave that elected Pope Francis and to lawn of the White House.
In 2008, Steven was recognized for his series of undercover investigative reports on drug use in the Toronto-area South Asian community.
Steven grew up in Richmond Hill, Ontario and graduated from Toronto's Ryerson University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. He enjoys playing hockey, soccer, and even cricket
