Stewart Dixon is an accomplished executive leader with a proven track record of driving growth through strategic marketing, product development, and operational leadership across the media and technology sectors. Over the course of his career, he has led high-impact initiatives for globally recognized brands including ABC News, Chicago Tribune, and Motorola.
Today, Stewart is the founder of VentureDNA, a private equity and independent investment sponsor focused on early- and growth-stage companies. The firm invests across a diverse set of industries, including mobile, cloud, SaaS, social platforms, energy, media, consumer brands, and healthcare. VentureDNA distinguishes itself through its deep expertise in product innovation, brand strategy, and management consulting—combined with active board participation and hands-on portfolio management—to build meaningful, long-term partnerships with emerging companies. The firm is headquartered in Chicago.
Earlier in his career, Stewart spent a decade in Los Angeles, where he developed pioneering technology methodologies for the entertainment industry while working with Capitol Records and Apple Inc. His innovative contributions led to leadership roles on technology boards at the American Film Institute and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
In addition to his professional work, Stewart is actively engaged in civic and educational leadership. He serves as a Trustee at Cardigan Mountain School a boys junior boarding school located in Canaan, New Hampshire.
Stewart holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College.
