Writing, Editing, and Editorial Design in Boston, Massachusetts
I'm a student at Emerson College, Boston MA, pursuing a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing. My areas of concentration are poetry and magazine publishing, with a minor in Global & Post-Colonial Studies.
As a writer, I'm interested in how art (of any kind) has evolved in this age of technology and global exchange, as well as in issues surrounding race, identity, culture, music, travel, food, and education.
In the past, I've been an editorial intern EdTech Times, writing a weekly column on education-technology matters that pertain to college students. I've also been a communications intern for three summers at Manulife (they operate as John Hancock in the U.S.). Currently. I work on campus as a junior coordinator with the Office of International Student Affairs, and a content/layout assistant with Web Services.
