I have worked hard, studied a lot and questioned every decision I have made to figure out what it is I am passionate about.

What I found out is that "I love what I do."

I have managed to blend two disparate careers into one through communications.

With more than 14 years of experience working in the news industry and nonprofit sector as a website administrator, copy editor/page designer, writer and photo/videographer, I have worked on various projects, including website project management, program development, fundraising events and photoshoots.

I received my master's degree in public administration/nonprofit management from the University of La Verne in 2012.

In 2005, I received my bachelor's degree in journalism from San Diego State University, and in 1999, I earned my associate's degree from East Los Angeles College.
