Ted Crawford
Life Coach, Real Estate Investor, and mentor in Brooklyn, New York
Ted Crawford was born and raised in Bushwick, Brooklyn, where he developed a strong sense of resilience and ambition. He attended SUNY Oswego, earning a B.S. in Marketing and becoming a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. It was there that he discovered his passion for event planning, serving as Events Coordinator and Social Director, a skill that would shape his future endeavors.
After graduating in 1990, Ted returned to Brooklyn, balancing a corporate career with his entrepreneurial drive. He founded Assorted Flavors Entertainment, curating high-quality events throughout NYC. When the 2008 recession threatened his real estate investments, he pivoted, joining 5LINX Enterprises, where he rebuilt his financial foundation and funded his daughter’s college education—proving his grit in the face of adversity.
Ted later thrived in sales, becoming UPS’s #1 Sales Account Executive in the U.S. in 2021 and 2022, generating over $200 million in revenue before retiring. Now, he’s focused on public speaking, coaching, and mentoring, using his experiences to inspire others.
Committed to giving back, Ted co-founded CPPO, an organization dedicated to bridging the gap between law enforcement and young men of color. His entrepreneurial spirit remains strong as he expands his business portfolio, becoming part owner of Row House restaurant in Harlem and proud owner of By Any Other Name dispensary in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.
A dedicated marathon runner, basketball player, and golfer, Ted finds his greatest joy in family, friendship, and community—living proof that persistence and passion pave the way to success.
