Marriage & Relationship Counseling in Palm Harbor, Florida
Many couples come to counseling looking for a good guy and a bad guy—hoping the therapist will be the referee who finally sets things straight.
That is rarely a winning approach.
Instead, I help couples understand and change the negative patterns that have developed between them—cycles of reacting, defending, pursuing, and withdrawing that leave both partners feeling frustrated and alone.
My work helps couples move from competitive conflict to creative collaboration—communicating more effectively, managing emotions and conflict more skillfully, feeling safer and more connected, and understanding one another more deeply.
The goal is to build a team in which both partners feel safe, understood, significant, and empowered to face their differences together.
Over time, conflict becomes more manageable, the relationship grows warmer, playfulness returns, and greater intimacy can emerge.
No good guy. No bad guy. Just us—and the healthy relationship we can build together.
