I am a visual artist focusing on painting and works on paper. I make paintings that examine the fluid nature of memory, time, place, and identity. My works have an emphasis on multi-layered systems, color, and process.

As a painter and lifelong urban dweller, I'm interested in aspects of memory and time via observations of the continual evolution of the urban landscape: observation of layers of over-written, buffed and rewritten graffiti, together with gentrification and the "overwriting" of the old with the new form the starting point for many of my multi-layered parings.

My work is represented in Philadelphia, PA by the Bridgette Mayer Gallery. I also have paintings available through the Philip Slein Gallery (St. Louis, MO) and Gray Contemporary (Houston, Texas). I am seeking exhibition and representation opportunities in the U.S. and abroad.
