Tim West is Silicon Valley's top food innovation consultant and works as a strategic advisor and recruiter to some of the world's most innovative companies.

Inspired by a bout of food poisoning from fast food he freshman year of college, Tim discovered the Slow Food movement and dedicated his life to feeding as many people as sustainably as possible.

Tim has been recognized as one of Zagat’s 30 under 30 Food-World Up-and-Comers and served as a Fellow4Good at the Institute for the Future.

He has designed learning journeys, recruited executives, advised and worked with a variety of large companies and small startups including The Culinary Institute of America, Facebook, AirBNB, The Center for the Edge @ Deloitte, Singularity University, The Institute for the Future, Mars and Nestle.

His areas of interest include: plant based foods, better for you snacking, plastics and packaging innovation, personalized nutrition, bio-actives, food as medicine, gut health, micro-biome, and artificial intelligence applied to food.

Tim currently works on behalf of the Mars Advanced Research Institute and the Future Food Institute teams where he is always scouting new products, tools, technologies and startups while forging strategic partnerships with aligned organizations.
