I'm Christophe aka toch. I'm a software engineer, Ruby and C++ developer, Linux sysadmin, with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence. After a start in teaching and research, I've felt the urge to build real solution for real people. But identified as an academic, I've decided to prove I was not a Mike and started as a freelance software engineer. I have founded PullReview, an automated code review for Ruby and Rails developers.
When I'm not writing code disease simulators or PullReview, I like to help others with development challenges, I write on the PullReview blog, I (co)organize several Belgian Ruby events (Belgian Ruby User Group, Ruby Burgers, Rails Girls Brussels, RubyCamp BE), and likes to talk at conferences and user groups.
I enjoy a lot of stuffs and discussing them, learning, my family, gardening (a true job), reading (the whole web), green Japanese tea, snowboarding, and playing role playing games and game of Go.
