Toni Reid

Codesigner of things and Occupational Therapist in Auckland, New Zealand

Toni trained as an Occupational Therapist back in 2007; completed a PG Dip in Mental Health & Addictions in 2014 and shifted from clinical practice in 2015 to take on a role in New Zealand's wellbeing social lab, Lifehack.

Toni has a deep desire to create a world that is accessible for everyone - physically, digitally and socially.

Toni has worked at the front lines of mental health services in NZ as well as contributing the design and development of new initiatives in both social enterprise and DHB-contracted models.

Provision of clinical supervision of Occupational Therapists is an emerging area of interest, particularly those who are working outside of traditional hospital establishments. Check out for more information about this initiative.

Toni has also spent 5+ on the governance board of Rainbow Youth, holding positions of Secretary and Chairperson and this year as a strategic advisor. This has resulted in a working knowledge of strategy, governance and financial sustainability in New Zealand's NGO context.

In a personal capacity, Toni is a lover of dogs, New Zealand's beautiful coast lines and spending time with loved ones.
