I grow and forage plants and make plant-based medicines. I teach and write. I ask questions as a life practice. I am the captain of Fellow Workers Farm, and this is my Captain's Log. I am recording my ideas and impressions, the speed of the wind and the roll of the sea. I am asking WHY and poking the sleeping dragon. This writing should be taken as such, as an opinionated Weblog, as a conversation starter, and NOT as health advice or a scientific paper.

I am also a community herbalist, and a skeptic committed to critical thinking.
