In my more than 30 years of work, I am continually reminded that the personal is political. My greatest activism happens as I look at the world that I brought my two children into and tap into the sense and possibilities that I am connected to people who care about my children as I care about theirs; that our communal love for our children, our anger and our action can and will change the environments and communities in which we live. There is never a time in my life when I am not asking questions, seeking answers and wanting to know “Now what do we do?”
