I'm an analytical, highly motivated & positive person who's looking for a new role in my career as a SQL Business Intelligence Developer or potentially any role involving interesting data analysis & visualisation.
Outside of work I'm looking to get more creative with my photography and find adventure through travel.
I like to connect people, thus I've had a keen interest & active role in Birmingham tech community groups.
In an effort to facilitate community interaction, creativity and potentially new businesses in 2012 I started to organise my own events in Birmingham themed around Open Data & Smart City agendas.

Throughout 2013 I continued to organise events which began with Understanding the Data Revolution (with the non-profit www.sciencecapital.co.uk) and may continue similar agendas with my networking brand "Ideas & Beers" which aims to help people engage by talking about any ideas they wish and receive feedback, in a relaxed environment.

I am currently learning spatial analysis and have a keen interest in 'Big Data' & data visualisation technologies.

After a 4 year hiatus, in 2018 I shall again be running data-themed events, watch this space...
