I am an Integrative Counsellor MBACP (Reg.) and Bereavement Specialist.

I provide professional counselling support for those struggling with grief and loss following a bereavement. I also offer general counselling for a wide range of other issues including anxiety, depression and low self-esteem.

Whether you are struggling with a particular issue or generally feeling unhappy in your life, I can help you explore the limiting beliefs or difficult life experiences that may be holding you back. I offer short and long term therapy and provide a safe, caring and confidential space through regular sessions.

My initial face to face consultation session is FREE so we can explore what is troubling you and how I can help.

For further information about my fees, location and availability, do send me an email or check my website above.

About me

Before training as a Counsellor, I gained wider professional experience in the public, private and charitable sectors. I originally trained as a nurse supporting adults with learning disabilities and went on to work in fundraising for organisations including Macmillan Cancer Support and Rainbow Trust. I was a Trustee of a local Counselling Service.

My approach

As an Integrative Practitioner, I draw on a range of approaches in seeking the best way forward with my clients. This includes Psychodynamic and Person Centred Therapy as a framework for the therapeutic relationship, body-orientated methods (including Focusing) to gain insights which cannot be accessed by talking alone and Attachment Theory to help assess how early relationships may have shaped later patterns of relating. Humanistic and Transpersonal approaches offer inspiration in supporting clients to find a more enriched way of being.

Talks & workshops

I have delivered events and workshops aimed at helping participants explore grief and loss in an open, accessible way and am a practiced public speaker. If you would like me to deliver a talk or workshop for your organisation, do get in touch.

Professional membership

As a Qualified Counsellor and Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am in regular Supervision and uphold the values, principles and moral qualities set out by the BACP Ethical Framework (2018).
