Wil moved to London to study Pharmacology at King's College London in 2007. It was there that he started FatKidOnFire (FKOF), which earned him the 'Digital Journalist of the Year' title at the 2010 Guardian Student Media Awards. Today, FKOF is a chart-topping record label, events business and an award-winning digital publication.

After working in the advertising and marketing industries for 4 years, Wil went through the Ignite accelerator programme with Chew in 2014. The team went on to raise three rounds of investment, acquire a US-based competitor and scale to 400,00 users. Wil left Chew in 2017 after it was acquired by Singapore-based BandLab Technologies, joining Ignite as a Programme Director.

Wil likes: startups, a good sound system, whisky, DJing and running his record label.
He dislikes: commuting, chickpeas and falling off his bike.
