Zen is a federally licensed Enrolled Agent (EA) tax practitioner; he is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers. Zen also received his Master of Science in Taxation (MST).
Zen’s knowledge of Small Business Tax and Accounting includes an understanding of tax regulations at federal, state and local levels. He is an accomplished tax accountant with expertise in tax planning, financial statements, and implementing accounting procedures & policies.
Zen handles tax controversy and resolution cases for his business and individual clients by means of tax notices, amended returns, and audit representation.
Zen is responsible for client development, establishing banking relationships on behalf of clients, consulting on business management issues.
Zen is also responsible for managing the business operations of the firm.
What set's Zen apart from other accountant's is his personal experience in running and operating small businesses himself. He grew up surrounded by 2 family businesses and has started, funded and operated two of his own ventures. Because of his personal experience, he is able to understand client needs and wants. Developing personal relationships in order to create a partnership which allow both to grow.
Zenon received his Bachelor's in Accounting from DePaul University and his Master's in Taxation from the University of Illinois. He was born, raised & resides in Chicago's Midway area.
Zenon is currently the owner of Chicago EA a Virtual CFO, Operations & Tax Services business.
